Bacon & Cheese Morning Bun

Bacon & Cheese Morning Bun

Sunday Lunch/Daily Dinners

What did you have for breakfast?  These buns are an IV original, and I have sold dozens and dozens over the years at the Pender Islands’ Farmers’ Market — a sweet dough, rolled with bechamel, then sliced, allowed to rise, and topped with cheese, bacon (and sometimes Tomato Jam) before being baked in the oven.

You’re not doing anything wrong, Jeanne — this picture and description is intended to inspire. I’m not willing to give up this recipe without a signed cookbook contract. Theresa
