There’s a lot going on in that little head that we’ll never know.
I’ve said it before: this dog enjoys a view. He’ll sit for 10 or 20 minutes when he finds a spot he likes. So when we reach a panorama such as this (and there’s quite a few stunners here on Pender), it’s time to sit back, relax and chill while we commit this snapshot in time to memory. I’ve learned a lot about living in the moment from my little sensei here.
Just add Zen Master Douglas to his long list of monikers.
Today, we have a gorgeous view of Saturna — the vineyard is the cleared patch on the right side of the island — from one of our favourite (somewhat) secret picnic spots.
I’ll let you guess which one of us spent our time here dreaming about a chilled glass of their Blanc de Noir. Perhaps I wasn’t strictly in the moment, but I’m always up for a glass of wine while walking the path to enlightenment.
