Great piece, Theresa! My latest obsession (sure to turn up on the Thanksgiving table) is pureed cauliflower. I steam a whole head of cauliflower until tender (make sure to drain it very well) and combine it in the food processor with a whole head of roasted garlic, a few big glugs of excellent olive oil, some thyme leaves, pepper, and salt (the cauliflower sucks up a lot of salt – don’t stop adding until it tastes impossibly delicious). It works beautifully as a side dish but I also like to serve it before dinner with pita or crackers – it’s a great alternative to hummus. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Lynn

Lynn — that sounds like a wonderful side dish for Thanksgiving — we may very well have that with our little bird! Cheers, Theresa
