Top Five Friday – 5 Great Reasons to Visit the Pender Farmer’s Market
If you’re on Pender Island this weekend, be sure to stop by the Farmers’ Market on Saturday:
- I’ll be there serving Pender Pulled Lamb on Homemade Flatbreads with Veggies and Tzatziki– look for my table around the side of the community hall — beside the lounge.
I’ll be there serving Fresh Falafel on Homemade Flatbreads with Veggies & Tzatziki.
- A percentage from all my sales go to support Pender Island’s Community Hall — now in its 10th year!

- There will be fresh produce and eggs from Hope Bay, Whalewhych and other farms — come early it goes fast…

- There will be A TON of really great crafts, preserves & baking — so many talented people on 1 little island!

Hi, Theresa. If I weren’t so loyal to my peeps over here, I’d plan a visit to Pender, if for nothing else, to try your delectable-looking lamb and falafel. It is great that you are supporting your community hall, too! Good for you!!

Oh how cute those mermaid dolls are! And mm the food – I especially love the look of your falafels!
I want to be there!!!! The pulled lamb on flat bread looks phenomenal! Seriously, wow.
Thanks! I had a great day — everything was sold out by 10:50am! I guess I`ll be making a few more for next week!
What a wonderful post
Now I want to go to Pender Farmers Market- if could only teleport or something. Location aside, your post makes a few great points about why the farmers market is amazing on so many levels- from amazing raw and prepared food to little finds like those mermaids – my 2 year old would NEED one of those for sure.
