Golf Island Disc Park
The Dooze and I walk through the disc park a couple of times a week. As the weather warms up and the days get longer, Howard will join us for a quick 9 holes in the late afternoon.
The Golf Island Disc Park is an amazing 27 hole course located in one of the forests of Magic Lake Estates — about a 10 minute walk from our place.
A few very generous, disc-mad individuals built and continue to maintain what is known as one of the most beautiful and challenging disc golf courses in North America. It’s FAMOUS.
And yet, most of the time when we’re in here, we don’t see anyone else.
Which is a shame, because I’d love to witness a hole-in-one on this one:
See what I mean about challenging?

Yes, that does look challenging!! :)
You’re lucky to live so close to such a beautiful park.
i’v been to Pender twice & have yet to visit the park.My son Brendan Maillett spends lot of his free time there & loves it.Next visit i’ll go there for sure.It looks like a beautiful place.
Thanks for stopping by IV!
